Over the weekend, R&M Ranch Horses learned from several of our friends on social media and through our website that two of our yearlings and one of our broodmares are currently posted for sale at a well-known kill barn in Texas. We want first to say thank you to those friends who brought this to our attention.
R&M Ranch Horses will never knowingly sell any of our horses to a kill barn. We stand by every horse we breed and are dedicated to training and producing the ranch horse of your dreams, all at a fair price. We are proud of the bloodlines of our horses and want those to live on. Our goal is to provide our fellow ranchers and cattlemen with the best ranch horse out there.
We have seen several comments on this kill barn's page of questions about how these two horses ended up where they are, and we would like the opportunity to share our story. Those two horses were consigned and sold on October 2nd at the fall Shawnee Horse Sale. They are both 100% gentle and 100% sound. They have no health or attitude issues whatsoever because we dedicate time and attention to all our horses. We did not send them to this kill barn and will never do that for profit. We know our horses' quality bloodlines and know that we don't need to go that route.
While we really hope these horses find a new home, we encourage buyers who are interested in our horses to buy directly from us or from the auctions we consign them to. That is the only way we can guarantee that you will get our level of quality, health, and fairness in price. We dedicate a lot of time and resources to ensure this.
We still have a few yearlings available for sale and will soon promote pictures of our 2020 foals. If you are interested in knowing more about our horses, please visit www.rmranchhorses.com or email info@rmranchorses.com.
Thank you,
R&M Ranch Horses
